Our philosophy

We firmly believe that physical therapy should be patient centered. This means that the patient's problems as well as the goals they want to achieve are the most important things we consider when deciding what the best intervention is.

The treatment we propose has an active character, encouraging the patient to engage in an exercise-based rehabilitation program, avoiding outdated passive methods of mechanical therapy. The plan is re-evaluated after every session in order to ensure that we progress towards our goal.

At VIVERE, we follow the Biopsychosocial model of health which, according to modern Medical Science, is a necessary and basic approach to clinical care.

Our services

PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSESSMENT

At VIVERE, the specialized physical therapist evaluates the patient through evaluation protocols and identifies the causes of the problem. Based on the outcomes of the assessment, we will create a personalized rehabilitation program based on the latest available scientific evidence.

MANUAL THERAPY

We are specialists in Manual Therapy, which is a modern therapeutic method, known for its effectiveness in a variety of neuro-musculoskeletal injuries.

PELVIC FLOOR PHYSIOTHERAPY

Pelvic floor physiotherapy helps women’s health issues such as incontinence, pelvic/ vaginal pain, prenatal and postpartum musculoskeletal pain, osteoporosis, rehabilitation following breast surgery, lymphedema, education prevention, wellness and exercise, and so much more.

CLINICAL PILATES

Clinical or Therapeutic Pilates is a type of exercise based on the typical Pilates format, but it is modified to safely include people with an existing injury, musculoskeletal conditions of the spine or peripheral joints, chronic pain, pregnant women or after giving birth.

SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPY

Are you training for a marathon and want to be the best on the swim team or just need your leisurely walk in the morning? Like you, we at VIVERE value physical health and activity, and know how important they are for your well-being.

FALL PREVENTION IN THE ELDERLY

Fall prevention among seniors is an important issue in modern society. Falls can physically, psychologically, and economically affect older people, as they are associated with high mortality rates, a high degree of disability and dysfunction, and can cause anxiety and depression, and consequently a decline in the quality of life.

RESPIRATORY PHYSIOTHERAPY

Respiratory physical therapy is the branch of physical therapy that deals with the evaluation and rehabilitation of patients with chronic respiratory problems such as bronchial asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary fibrosis. The Panhellenic Association of Physical Therapists points out that improving lung function with respiratory physical therapy is extremely important for groups vulnerable to COVID-19.
